Jackson Moody grew up playing music from a very early age being brought up in a very musical household mostly playing bluegrass and country music with his father and grandfather. Performing at Disneyland Paris on a regular basis in his teens he developed a strong appreciation for writing his own music.
Influenced by the music of his father Carlton Moody that trends in a country, bluegrass and popular direction, as well as the country-rock sounds of the west coast from The Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers, he began to find his own sound that leads to an eclectic mix of country, rock, folk and bluegrass. Although he doesn’t really have a specific genre to classify his music, he calls it “American”.
